The Transmission Gully Project acting on behalf of Waka Kotahi needed a video to showcase the new motorway as it opened. Because the motorway was still in construction, animation was the perfect way to explain the new motorway and how the existing road network would connect to it. We used aerial photography and video during its construction to piece together the information we needed for the illustrations. 

 

The design style reflects the impressive natural environment the roadway passes through. 

 

We used a mix of 2D and 3D animation to bring the vehicles and environments to life.
